Low-pressure conveyor

Flying conveyance is a variant of pressure conveyance with high speeds and simultaneous low pressure and low charging. Just one product infeed can be used to feed several removal points at distances of more than 100 m. They are suitable for operationally safe conveyance of dry, granulated and non-stripping powders and granulates. The low pressure conveyor is used to distribute raw materials and products from Big Bag emptying stations, bag emptying stations and container emptying stations. During dry cleaning, adsorption material is injected into the flue gas duct using an activated carbon metering station.

Product description

The low-pressure conveyor is used wherever powders and granulates are to be injected into a duct or container that is slightly pressurised. Depending on the application situation and the bulk materials, the transfer to the low- / medium-pressure system is performed using a cellular wheel sluice or an injector.

Fixed pipelines made of steel/, stainless steel or plastic are used for the conveyor line and as hoses. The flexible adjustment options for guiding the lines to the contours of existing systems enable easy retroactive installation without system adjustments.

Thanks to the automatic conveyor, your staff will have more time and be relieved physically. If explosion zones are declared, the components are designed in accordance with the ATEX directive.

Functional description

The low-pressure conveyor is used wherever powders and granulates have to be conveyed onwards.

The product to be conveyed enters the product infeed, also known as an injection shoe, via a downpipe. The conveyance air flows towards the removal points in the product infeed. The product flows into the injection shoe. Depending on the application, metering can be controlled by adding a cellular wheel sluice.

The compressed air with positive pressure pulls the product along and conveys it to the required processing step. The compressed air is generated by fans.
