Bulk materials handling via a pneumatic conveyor
The pneumatic conveyor is used particularly for bulk materials such as powder, granulate, tablets and dusts. Due to the ease and flexibility of laying the conveyance lines, using a pneumatic conveyor in production systems in small spaces is the optimum choice. Furthermore, the pipeline can be adapted to enlarged machines and structural steel structures. The infeed station itself requires very little set-up space and can be included in many processes. Compared to mechanical conveyance systems, it is easy to master longer conveyance distances and conveyance heights. The lines can be laid vertically and horizontally. The maintenance effort is also comparatively low. All this makes operating a pneumatic conveyor economical.
