Barrel emptying stations
Supplied in steel and plastic barrels of different sizes, bulk materials in powder and granulate form can be conveniently emptied with the IB Verfahrens- und Anlagentechnik barrel emptying station. The products are fed into the manufacturing process with maximum protection against contamination (contamination with foreign substances) and also well sealed and therefore low in dust. We coordinate in detail with our customers to determine what the solution with pneumatic or mechanical conveyor technology looks like in a project-related manner.

Product description
The barrels are inserted and removed manually using a forklift. Alternatively, the station can be equipped with roller tracks.
The conical emptying connection seals the barrels with different and slightly damaged edges.
After docking on, the barrel is lifted and turned 180° onto its head so that the product can be emptied effortlessly.
A product conveyor can be connected below the barrel emptying station.
Materials
The frames and system components that come into contact with products are made of standard steel 1.0038, stainless steel 1.4301 and from other materials upon customer request.
For the food industry, the system components that come into contact with the products are designed in accordance with Regulation (EC) 1935/2004.
